I would have LOVED to give a 5 star review , especially after what appears to be the store manager pointing out that there was still 1 blueberry muffin, & the store was for the most part clean , their was some trash at the lid/straw station & some minor spills ( which I actually cleaned up myself before finishing setting up my fountain drink ) - there also was some trash at the counter ( that I also told the clerk that was about to ring me up , & then asked her if there was a trash can back there & she did take the trash from me & threw it away). But SHE WAS RUDE , she did NOT smile at all , she did not say thank you , have a nice day - NOTHING , just blah expressions on her face & only spoke what was absolutely necessary- she told me my total , she asked what pump I was on & told me the total going on the pump ( which was said WRONG & lastly asked if I wanted the receipt . That’s IT ! I had to go back in bc I thought she put the wrong amount since she verbally said I would have $24.80 when I said make it $30 total & my pre gas purchase was like $5.80 ( yes I know that doesn’t add up right ) - I am only saying what she said. Then I saw the 5 hour powers & said I am so sorry but I need to add this - then her & the store manager started talking bc she was trying to add it up again since I said just go ahead and make it $35 total , all I HEARD her say was “ so that’s $29.— ( I didn’t hear the change) so when I only pumped $25.29 I obviously thought something was off so I went back in - of course same exact personality, no apology NOTHING - actually the store manger took her side saying “I WAS STANDING RIGHT HERE WHEN SHE WRUNG YOU UP!” - as if I was trying to cheat them out of a couple bucks in gas !!! Seriously ? I was only going off what she had said , and when I did the math in my head I knew $29 was too much but thought it would have been like $27. & change , I didn’t have the receipt & again I was only going off what numbers she said before I added the 5 HR & after. The amount apparently was in fact correct , but had she not said I was getting $24.80 on the pump w a $30 total & then I only added an item that was $3.50, and increased it to a total of $35 & she said $29.- I would not have thought the pump was incorrect & came back inside in the 1 st place! Anyone would assume that they would get around $26-$27 on the pump ( ESP WHEN SHE HERSELF SAYS “so I put $29.- on the pump “. They could have AT LEAST APOLOGIZED FOR THE MISCOMMUNICATION, or the INCONVENIENCE- even if they didn’t mean it bc that’s what you do in customer service - you TREAT THE CUSTOMER W RESPECT , you don’t insinuate that they are trying to rip you off a whole $2 when you just spent $35 , and when a situation arises , even if the customer is wrong , you STILL apologize for the miscommunication & inconvenience & tell them to have a nice day & SMILE - not just stand around with rude blah facial expressions , and she was like that both times I had to come in the store & toward other customers - it just doesn’t make the store look good , or inviting !!!! So Race Trac I HOPE YOU TALK TO YOUR YOUNGER EMPLOYEES & TEACH THEM SOME MUCH NEEDED CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS & maybe some better manners !!! Thank you & have a nice day ????
