First time here. Shelby was our server and she was very attentive and provided great recommendations. The chargrill oysters were good. Margarita was really good. Not a big fan of fried Brussels but they were okay. Hubby is a gumbo connoisseur and he really enjoyed it. Peach Cobbler had good flavor but the crust was too thick for me. Made to taste more like dough. We will be back to try breakfast. Oh and the music was really nice!

I have been here several times, and the food has been consistently wonderful (except one time when the cornbread was hard and dry). I love the oysters and catfish. The burger is big and juicy. The few brunch items I’ve had have been tasty, although I didn’t love the grits. The coffee is wonderful- a pleasant surprise. There’s a bar that serves a variety of mixed drinks, but the wine selection is extremely limited.

Service is typically “leisurely,” so don’t go if you are in a rush. All but one of the times I’ve gone, the service was very friendly. Sometimes tips are automatically added, sometimes there are not, so be sure to check your bill. I’ve had it automatically added for parties of one to three but not automatically added for a party of ten. Go figure. Even though they serve breakfast all day and they offer breakfast potatoes as a side on their dinner menu, they stop serving breakfast potatoes at 4:00, So after that time, salmon is served only with mashed potatoes as no substitutions were allowed when I asked.

Despite the service inconveniences, I will definitely continue to return to this spot for the delicious food.

The food is made from scratch to table by the chef Lorenzo, who came to the tables to check on us. This was our first time and needless to say, we were not disappointed!!

We had smoked chicken with and some corn muffins to start!! Delicious..

Main meal was the Uncle Burger and the Kale salad with smoked salmon. It’s time for bed… and it’s only lunch time.

Our server Jasmine was great too. She was pleasant and smiled the whole time.

I was a little concerned with the service at first because our server left our table of two to take on a larger party, it took longer than it should have for someone else to come over but Mia was great! The owner was very personable as well. The corn muffins were my favorite. My colleague loved her oxtails and grits, my fish was a little over cooked for my liking but overall the food was good.

New restaurant just opened last month definitely worth a visit! We were greeted by the owner and all of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The vibe inside is very nice too. We ordered the oysters and the catfish and grits and both were delicious. We did wait almost an hour for our food but they opened recently and had a really big party order before us. However they consistently checked in and apologized for the wait and it's a nice environment to spend some time in. We were very impressed with the service and presentation of the drinks and food, they definitely make you feel very welcome and quality is a priority. The pricing is very reasonable for high end food and drinks. It is a small restaurant and we expect it will be much harder to get a table here as the word gets out. Hopefully they can get some more staff soon so they can accommodate more people and speed service up a little bit. We will definitely be back!
