First Watch - Vinings

OMG - This place is fantastic. Even though it's not on the menu, the cook will prepare Bacon Pancakes. The menu is great, but I just love the pancakes. There is usually a line on the weekends so get there early. But don't worry about the line...it's worth the wait.

We had brunch at First Watch and the experience had both good and bad points. On a positive note, the three of us enjoyed our food and based on food alone, we'd definitely go back.

Service on the other hand was lacking. When we walked in at around noon, the host/hostess stand wasn't staffed and there was a line formed at the register mixed with people waiting for a table and others waiting to pay their tabs. It took a few minutes to navigate this and eventually be seated. No one aknowlged that we were waiting until we made it to the front of the queue.

As we were being seated, we asked for a booster seat for our child. A few minutes passed and none was brought. When our server introduced herself, we asked again for a booster and it was provided but it would have been nice to get it on the first attempt. Our server took our orders and the wait for our food was reasonable but she never asked to refill our tea glasses. Not a big deal but not really good service either.

The food was enjoyable but they have competitors with good food also and better service.

If you want a sit down lunch that's a step up from fast casual try First Watch. My husband and I go there every six weeks or so for breakfast or lunch. The food is consistently good and the service has always been dependable. We did have one incident in which our food delivery was exceptionally slow. So slow that we had to leave (I had a flight to catch) before it arrived. This was definitely a one off and the manager was very apologetic. We've been since then. If you are going on the weekend arrive early unless you want to wait for a table. We've been there several times for lunch on a weekday and have been seated immediately. Try the Morning Meditation - it's my husband's favorite.

Everything from the lemon ricotta pancake to the green tonic drink was delicious!!! Best part is that the food left you feeling full but not stuffed. It was very light eating. The customer service was Awesome...loved our waitress. I will definitely be back!

We went on a Friday around 1 pm the food was awesome, their was no wait time! Parking was a bit difficult since it’s a shared space with other businesses. The food came out in a timely manner! The salmon frittata was so good! The atmosphere was quiet! We sat outside and loved it! The waitress was pleasant and gave me good food ideas since it was our first time! One of the best brunch places! I would definitely come again!
