Carters Fried Chicken "Tidwells"

Best Steak Sandwich you will ever have. The Owner Tidwell is one of the nicest people you are going to ever meet. Most addictive food ever????????????????

The best fried chicken place around. Although both Carter's Fried Chicken places in Douglas are both family owned and only one-half mile apart, this one well surpasses the other. Their is always one of the owners there versus just hired help at the other. Naturally this means they take a lot more pride in their service and customer satisfaction. The regular food is great, but I highly recommend the homemade apple dumplings for only one dollar each. You better get extra because they're addictive and someone will want to try it! They have daily specials and five dollar deals, too.

This place is fabulous!!!!!! You get a chicken breast, a chicken thigh, A roll, a bunch of crinkle cut french fries, and a drink for $5.00 KFC don't even compare to this place. It makes you wonder how they cooked everything with not being greasy at all. the french fries man they were good that really hits the spot. This is the man with a service dog . I will go in there now every time I come by the place. You Can't go wrong at all. It's really a good thing when you find a place that's so darn good and such a fair price. My hat goes to the owner five stars all the way. Your bathroom needs a little help tho.

Tidwell Carter is so friendly. His prices are beyond reasonable and the food is delicious! Best onion rings ever.
