Pretty decent food. I'm only 5'8" so the bar stools are too short and make me feel like a kid at the adults table lol. Polite staff.
The food was fantastic. Our waitress was super good. An absolute delight. I personally like my sweet tea like pretty sweet, but it's all good, I switched to coke. But overall it was good.
Stopped by for dinner with my daughter. Her burger was great and huge. I got the special which was Cajun catfish and shrimp. Had a pretty good flavor but was extremely salty. I ate half and brought the rest home. Ticket came and my meal was $16.99. I didn't think it was right but maybe I read the sign out front wrong. As we left, special was listed outside as $14.99. I asked if I had ordered a side dish that ran it up $2. The girl said no but checked the computer. Bartender told her it had been ringing up wrong price all night. She offered to void my ticket and re-ring but it was late, we were tired and I did not feel like waiting for a manager to completely void the ticket, and have to credit then recharge my credit card for $2. I feel like the restaurant was dishonest if they KNEW it was ringing up wrong all night but continued to over charge customers. Bad business. We have eaten here before and probably will again but will be much more vigilant in the future to them over charging on so called specials.
Definitely a place to try and enjoy if you are in the area. I would drive out of my way to come back and enjoy another meal here. Food and service is awesome!
This is some tasty barbeque. The brisket baked beans make for a good side dish and the corn bread is almost cake-like. The pulled pork was good and I was okay with the hash and rice. The best part of the meal is that it was more than I could eat and the price is definitely right.
I'd like to go back and try other meats like the ribs. And maybe some of that peach cobbler.
