Steak 'n Shake

Steak and shake was really great. We went around 3 PM during happy hour and got great service, but they were out of several ingredients for shakes and dinners. The staff quickly responded and offered items to best suit the customer. Everyone was friendly, caring, and committed to serving. I truly thought this location deserved its rating. I ordered my usual western BBQ and it was again delicious. The rest of the party had a really good looking chicken salad with grilled chicken, mac n cheese for the kids with an apple sauce, and three superb shakes-- two birthday and one chocolate covered strawberry. I have always enjoyed my times at Steak and Shake around the country but this location truly brings me back to my childhood friendly experiences with family outings on hot summer days. I hope it does the same for you.

I use to love this SnS, but unfortunately after sending the manager to the Columbia, SC store the quality of everything has gone down. The food isn't as good as it use to be and the wait staff doesn't have the same pep that they use to. My husband and I were some of the first individuals in the building the day this store opened, so it makes me extremely sad to see the quality drop like it has.
I hope things turn around and get better, because I do enjoy Steak and Shake

Love Steak and Shake. My friend suggested to go out of spontaneity, and it was such an excellent decision! Good food, great shakes, relaxing atmosphere, and top notch service. Highly recommend for a cheap sit-down diner experience. Definitely go with the cinnamon toast crunch shake, it'll change your life. Will be going back whenever I can.
