The chicken and service was great. Had to wait on the chicken, but it was fried fresh. Yankee cornbread in Georgia, way to sweet. Mac and cheese was good and so were the collards . No 5th star the men's restroom smelled awful and before I used the toilet I noticed somebody missed on a number 2.
Thank you Mrs. Vickie for making my last two orders A1. My mama ate her entire plate you made today. Everything was freshly cooked and delicious...she ate all 3 of those wings and veggies!! Thank you Mrs. Vickie you are definitely the best!!
2 weeks ago, it was "to-die-for" good. This week, not so much. In fact, it was better cold the next day! Really then, it depends on the cook.
Looking forward to better chicken days. Happy to have a fried chicken place that doesn't soak the chicken in spices or hot sauce! Some of us are on the wimpy side and need it to be "good, southern-styled friend chicken" like grandma used to make! Thank you, Maryland Friend Chicken!
The young lady at the register was nice. They don't have all of the items that they have on Broad Street. My fries were hot because they had to be cooked to order; there wasn't any salt on them so they were bland. The pulleys were not hot either and had very little flavor. I won't go to the Evans location again. The downtown location is the best one to go to.
