4 stars given because 2 things could improve. (Please read further) Came here day 4 after they opened. Nice to see soulfood in this well blended community. Even though they had just opened, service was way beyond, professional, friendly and warm. The food is surely top notch. Taste like mommas in there. This will surely be a frequent go to for me. But I have to say even the best survives, true, unbiased tweeking to become the best. Only 2 things I would like to see is cut back on the salt and serve fresher vegetables. The collard greens had a leftover taste. And too much salt is not necessary. But I promise you these are minor details that in no way reflect what they offer. Good food, Good service, Great people.

Best soul food in Grovetown. Female owned too? Wow. The owner is so nice. She does it by herself from what I know, it takes a little while but she makes it happen. I will always have patience when it comes to that because she handling it all. I came in and she had about 9 people come in at one time, I saw plates being made, heard dishes moving around, and she was on the grill. I salute her. If you don’t have patience, find somewhere else but it is definitely worth the wait. She said that this is just a soft opening but there will be a full staff when it gets open for real. I’m there at least 3 times a week now. Highly recommended. Hands down.

Best food in the whole city. Get cha butt over there quickkkkk. You want everything they offer. It is amazing. Everything I purchased was freaking amazing. Omggggg. New place, great couple that owns the place. I love them.

The food is amazing!! Best fried chicken I've had in a long time. They seem to be new and run by a very nice couple so please support. Better food, portions and service than most other soul food spots in this area. Highly recommend!
