Grovetown Seafood Market and Restaurant

This is not just a Seafood Market. I ate here for lunch today and I had the fish lunch special with catfish. The best tasting catfish hands down. And you get a ton of food.

I went there with a fellow Soldier and we thought it was great. He had fried shrimp with beef fried rice and I had catfish with shrimp fried rice. There was no additional cost to add a protein to my fried rice. Unexpected but very pleasing. The portion size of my fish was great. I had plenty of rice as well. I was shocked by the price and my lunch plate came with a glass of sweet tea. What I love was the food was cooked fresh and hot..too hot for me to eat right away. Also it wasn't over breaded and it was seasoned just right I didn't even have to add hot sauce. Please keep up the good work... I will bring others!!

Ordered catfish dinner and seafood combo both were fresh and very good. Service was great. I will go back.

We moved here from Savannah and have often said the Augusta area has horrible food, but I can truly say this is one of the few to go restersunts that pleased our taste buds. If you like fried seafood and Chinese fried rices then you won’t be disappointed. Extra huge portions and tasty food. Friendly staff and excellent customer service. Definitely a hidden jewel in Columbia County.

Went and checked this place out and was somewhat impressed. It says it's a market and restaurant but the market portion is very small and the selection is limited to a couple different types of fish, crab legs and shrimp. The food was good and was priced just right. Would definitely recommend this place if you like friend seafood.
