Waffle House

My favorite waffle house before I hit the road! I drive trucks and before I leave Augusta I eat here. The service is quick and friendly. I have yet to have been disappointed.

Great service. Amazing amount of food for the price. Pecan waffles are to die for.

Very busy place, however you can hear communication back and forth between all the staff as good food rolls out from the kitchen. Overall it surprised me in a good way. I'd go back again.

Clean restaurant with freindly helpful and efficient staff. And the service was fast. Edit. After a few minutes of being here. I think that this is the best waffle House I've ever been to.

One word to describe here... heaven! I went today with my family. There was a bit of a wait (I would say like around 5 minutes). But, that can be expected when going in the morning on the weekend, especially on a Sunday.
I ordered the Texas toast sandwich with the eggs, bacon, and cheese, which also came with plenty of hash browns. The bacon was perfectly crispy, the bread had a nice little crunch, and the eggs and cheese tasted amazing. This was about $7 dollars, and most of the other meals here are too. Aside from the smaller/simpler meals, which I believe were around 5 dollars.
The food takes awhile to make, but it definitely isn't fast food. It tastes home-made and it was probably the best breakfast I have had all year!
The atmosphere is great in here. Though, it can be a little loud inside since it can get very busy. Also, bring a jacket with when you go, because the place is a bit cold. The place is kept clean, so don't worry about wiping off crumbs from the seats and table when you get seated. The employees check by every once and awhile to make sure you have everything you need.
Even when the place is busy, the employees never slack off! This place has some of the best breakfast, if not the best, around!
