Reminds me of my Granmama's house. You feel at home as soon as you walk through the door. Absolutely amazing!

Mother's is the best and unfortunately last true soul food joint in Newnan. They are open 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. The food is incredible regardless of what's on the menu for that day. The atmosphere is extremely friendly and exudes Southern hospitality. It is located behind the office rentals directly behind the courthouse downtown. The proprietor of Mother's love tea cakes from Bolton's bakery which is right around the corner. I always try to bring the staff some sweets from Bolton's because they have always treated me more like family than a patron or customer. I love sitting and talking to the staff and love the environment. It reminds me of my grandmother's house, kitchen and dining area with only a screen door separating you from the outside. Now that it's finally cooling off I can't think of a good excuse not to swing by and enjoy the best soul food and company Newnan jas to offer!

The best fried chicken anywhere around. The folks running it were great. Not a bad side item on the menu. Thank you!

This was the best Soul Food I have had in a very long. I wish I lived closer because I would probably eat at this place 3 times a week. I had a veggie plate & everything was the bomb!!! We will be back. Thank you for the AWESOME service and food.

What can I say?!? PLENTY!!! First, the family is so sweet and welcoming. It truly is like you are just walking into someone's kitchen and sitting down to have a meal and great conversation. Ms. Lucille makes you instantly feel like you have known her your entire life. The FOOD was ABSOLUTELY wonderful!! Reminded me of eating at my great grandmother's house. The collard greens... Hands down.. THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD. You HAVE to try them!! I also thought it was cool that they are located in the alley. The entire place was wonderful... PLENTY of good food. PLENTY of love. We'll be back. ❤️
