    A great family owned restaurant here in Newnan. I was very pleased with my overall experience and will be returning soon. I really enjoyed my fresh grouper salad, oyster stew, and pecan pie for dessert!

    The Half Shell is the best in town, yep you read that right. The BEST staff, food, atmosphere, everything. After 12 years, I'm finally glad I found this place. Don't wait longer than me and go check it out! I'm excited to bring my family and friends back on a live music night.

    Everyone is super nice, personable and knowledgeable. This place has a homey atmosphere. The oysters I had were ok, not the best I've had and for the money not the largest I've had either. Their green fried tomatoes are great though. And they have Tabasco sauce on the table. I love a place where I don't have to ask for it. This place for 4 stars for an awesome staff but lost a star because the food made me pretty sick shortly after I ate it. ????

    Great food, great atmosphere, and great service by some really nice people. This is a family-owned restaurant, and they put pride into making this a great place to eat. It's my family's favorite place to eat in Newnan, and I'm always finding new things on the menu I enjoy.

    Try the potato salad and banana pudding! Just not at the same time ;-)

    The Half Shell in Newnan has been one of my favorite spots for many years. Since they remodeled, the menu has expanded and is even better! The service here is the BEST I've experienced anywhere and the food is OUT OF THIS WORLD GOOD!! Thank you Half Shell for being AMAZING!!
