(September 11, 2020, 5:34 pm)16 East is quietly excellent. It’s a no frills restaurant with a no frills presentation of freshly prepared items. The chopped steak was freshly ground sirloin cooked to perfection, served with an excellent au ju style gravy, fresh veggies and some of the best sweet potato waffle fries I’ve tasted. My companion was happily lapping up a delicious watermelon margarita without coming up for air. Traveling with a “foodie” thru Cordele GA could have been a challenge but my foodie friend studies the menu online. & successfully chooses a decent to excellent place 99% of the time. 16 East was an all around hit.

(September 9, 2020, 2:24 am)Me and my wife went on our 25th wedding anniversary. The service was great. Very fast and friendly. I can't say enough about the food. Very flavorful. I highly recommend the premium fried chicken sandwich. Over all a Great place to eat.
