Crave Hot Dogs and Barbecue

The place was clean, the staff couldn’t be any friendlier and the food was good and plenty, they serve some crafted and popular beers. The atmosphere is nice and welcoming, and to be honest, after being served a child’s portion at regular price at big d’s, I don’t see way this place is not booming. Go try it out! I hope this people succeed and stay in Dawsonville; any one that tries their best deserves a chance, they won’t disappoint.
and anyway, a little competition may cause standards to rise elsewhere, win win for us consumers.

I was frankly not expecting this place to wow me, but it really has. My family and I have been a few times now and haven't once been disappointed. The craft beer selection is always damn good with 12 taps devoted to crafts from around the Southeast and are always of a quality to impress this beer nerd! The hotdogs are all beef which is great for those of us who avoid pork and the sausage and brats are awesome too! Great prices, great selection, great quality, friendly staff; couldn't ask for more! This is now a go-to for us when we don't feel like cooking dinner. We're looking forward to coming to trivia night too!

I really enjoy Crave Hot Dogs and Barbecue! My wife and I love the barbecue and my son loves the hot dogs. The barbecue is excellent and tops even some of the more famous barbecue joints. They have at least 6 barbecue sauces that my family enjoys trying out each time we come. The new owner always greets us with a smile and is very kind. I can tell the people take pride in working there. The price is great considering how much food you get. I'm looking forward to trying the new wings that they have just started to serve. The wings are oven roasted and not fried which is really nice. It's hard to find a place that oven roast their wings. I think it would be worth your time to try this place out. This is a regular stop for my family throughout the month.

Awesome atmosphere. Food was delicious. Beer selection was great. Staff was incredible! Dave, one of the owners, took the time to explain how everything works & even chatted with us after we ate. Christian was very knowledgeable about the beers and we had a great conversation with him. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

Such a great lunch and visit I wanted to share. Dave, the new owner, of Crave, is a great Chicagoan, and no one knows hot dogs like the chefs of Illinois...you want to try this most delicious place...Chicago comfort foods meet Deep South and Kansas City BBQ. Our son, who has autism and picky eating and comfort zone issues loves it here and that says everything to me. Affordable. Beer wall of 18 taps, 2 wines, hard cider, natural and craft beer with taste testing and flights. My new favorite place in Dawsonville. The new owners have made this place fabulous.
