This was my first visit to Ameer's and I love Mediterranean food. The tabbouleh was delicious, the hummus seasoned well, and the pita has pockets and is moist. I had the lamb kabob and was very delighted with my choice they cook the meat to order and did so very well. The atmosphere is very casual and has a family owned feeling (because it is). I got to meet the owner who was very friendly and hospitable. I would recommend this spot for anyone in the Emory - Decatur area for a wonderful, causal evening with friends. I would also recommend this little spot for anyone picky about their Mediterranean food as it was delicious, I'll be coming back for sure.
Kids tenders and schnitzel sandwich are from real chicken; not frozen from food service truck. Great humus and taziki sauce for schwarma. Delicious tea. Fair prices.
Nice folks.
Don't judge a book by its cover. The restaurant sits in a small, inconspicuous shopping center. It doesn't look like much but the food is delicious and the staff are incredibly warm and welcoming. Honestly some of the best food I've had in some time. I loved everything on my combo plate. Can't recommend highly enough.
Just happened to stop here for lunch and I loved it! The man working behind the counter was very helpful and the food (falafel plate) was delicious. Will definitely be visiting again.
This is a wonderful Mediterranean restaurant. The lentil soup was extremely fresh and flavorful, the corn salad had the right amount of dill and the falafels were fluffy with a crispy exterior. You order at the register then take a seat. There is plenty of inside and outdoor seating and extremely pleasant staff. The prices are really good and the baklava is worth the trip!
