Pure Taqueria Brookhaven

Great atmosphere. Pure has a very interesting menu. Beware of entrees with onions unless you love them, but other items are great. Service is attentive, even for groups.

I’m not from Georgia but I always past by this place and said I’m going to stop in one day. Let me tell you, when that one day finally came. I was extremely happy with my visit not ONLY was the food amazing, (I’m a SUPER picky eater) but staff there was really friendly, and the atmosphere alone was off the chain. I loved it and plan to visit again very soon. Actually that entire area is fantastic..

My husband and I actually just moved out of state but I have been meaning to write a review for Pure for a while now. We lived in Brookhaven and used to eat at Pure multiple times a month (if not once a week). Amazing chips and queso and skinny margaritas! My favorite meal is the fried shrimp tacos on flour tortillas. They have a big space including rooftop bar and outdoor seating downstairs.

We have always had great/fast service and experiences there until the last few times we went. The regular bartender left due to having a baby and I saw some new faces serving. The service was extremely slow, as in we sat at the bar or a table and waited at least 15 minutes before even being acknowledged (this happened one time when it was not even busy). When waiting for a second round of drinks the waitress completely forgot about our drink order and we had already finished our meals and were ready to pay by the time we got them. My fried ship tacos were ice cold the last two times I ordered them. This was not normal compared to our past experiences. I noticed more take out orders causing some fluster in the kitchen and maybe the new faces working their contributed. Hopefully everything can get worked out and Pure can go back to being as amazing as it used to be!

We will definitely try eating here again when we come back to Atlanta to visit.

Tried other location this time. Once again the place was better than the food. But it's purely my opinion based on my experience.
