The shack potato is the best. I always order chicken instead of chopped barbecue. And the Brunswick stew is very good.

Generally very clean and well stocked. Friendly staff. AC works. You get a lot of food for what you pay. I usually get the Carolina pulled pork sandwich an mac an cheese side. Sandwich is hot an rhe meat is tender. Bun is buttery. Mac an cheese could be creamer but is still yummy. Theres lemons for the tea. I like the location. Overall a good choice for lunch.

They are a very courteous and friendly crew. I usually do their specials of the day it changes each day and still gives you an opportunity to try most of the menu. The atmospherics make you feel as if you are at your backyard fourth of July barbecue or family reunion. All in all cool place. ????

I eat here once a week or so. Typically, I get the daily specials. My favorite of these is the Friday special, which is four bone ribs plus a side. I almost always get fries + another side of baked beans, and it ends up being my most satisfying meal of the day. The service is good, the food is reliable, and the location is great. This is good for a quick bite before shopping, errands, or anything else you need to get done at Edgewood retail.
