Had a lovely date night here with my husband ! Food was delicious, service was fantastic, vibe and ambiance was romantic and nice. 10/10 will come back ! The chicken empanadas were our favorite dish!
The food was good, but I prefer Eclipse de Luna for tapas. I loved the design and the patio. The shopping center is pretty lively. The chairs were super soft and I liked the charcuterie board. Really good service and nice waiters. They have half price wine on Tuesdays.
Sardines were exceptional, great croquettes, bacon wrapped dates and the shrimp were amazing, and the chicken empanadas were huge and baked well. Tried the meatballs and churros last and they were both tasty as hell.
Cocktails were fantastic, as was the service from Giacomo.
Cool vibe inside. We were lucky to get a table as walk-ins…lots of other folks that arrived after us ended up leaving because of a long wait. It was poppin.
Cool patio, cool bar, I’m pumped this place is in Toco Hills.
New to the area , I absolutely loved the atmosphere and ambience. Definitely will be returning. The cuisine is excellent and original. The green lipped Turner Mussels fresh from New Zealand along with the grass fed Turner Lamb and 100% grass fed Turner Ribeye steaks. Positively a delicacy not found in many states. They also have outside dining and a private dining room for events and parties.
We stepped into Silla del Toro and felt like we were transported out of Toco Hills. The decor is like a contemporary hacienda. The ambiance is simultaneously elegant and casual.
Food: The tapas have generous portions (enough for 3-4 people to each take a bite to try). The flavor combinations really complimented each other. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the quality was good. The seafood plates were our favorites-- so succulent.
Drinks: They have a custom Gin + Tonic section on the menu. The cocktails were refreshing. There were plenty of wine and sangria options as well.
Service was super attentive, and the food came our relatively fast.
Tip: We enjoyed taking the bread from the Escalivada (grilled vegetables) and eating it with the Gambas al Ajillo (garlic shrimp).
It seems like they have plans to grow-- more options for their wine bar / wine events in the future, plans to open for brunch hours (only open for dinner hours currently), and plans to build an outdoor patio.
