Sokongdong Tofu House

Love this place! The staff is so friendly and welcoming every time I come in. Tables are always full at this restaurant. Great portions of food at a very fitting price.

Overall 5/5: So Kong Dong is my favorite rainy day spot. I've been coming here for years now and have never been disappointed.

Food 5/5: I always get the tofu soup combo with the Korean short ribs. The flavor on the ribs is always spot on and the tofu soup with tripe is just the right amount of spice for me. The sides are always great, although they replaced the mashed potatoes with the sweet potatoes, they are still good. My favorite is the fish that comes with the combo, it is always crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside.

Service 5/5: Fast friendly service. Definitely great for a quick meal.

Amazing authentic Korean food! Get the soup combo with the ribs - you'll thank me later. And remember to crack your egg into the bowl as soon as it arrives to the table bubbling! Their bulgogi is super good and tender too. They have yummy banchan (side dishes) that are spicy, pickled, sweet, and savory! The seafood pancake is great for sharing too. It has squid, shrimp, and octopus in it and is served on a cast iron to keep it warm and crispy.

It has the best tofu soup in town. As well as one of their noodle side dish. I always get the mix seafood/ beef tofu soup with bean rice ( you will need to ask for it sometime don't run out of it quickly). I also love their beef ribs the flavor is delicious and the beef is very tender.

I love their 곱창 순두부!! I always get it!
