Sweet Tuna

I travel for work so I have eaten poke in a lot of places around the country, namely L.A. where I live and also in Hawaii (where, generally speaking, it’s often just the beautiful raw fish, rice and furikake - no toppings available). I have never been to any poke shop where the scoops of the actual poke protein were so small as Sweet Tuna. Golf-ball size scoops throw off the proportions of fish to toppings/base. I ordered a small bowl thinking two scoops of fish would be good, not realizing how small the scoops are here. I would recommend three scoops minimum, but then the problem is your bowl size is bigger so the proportions remain off. On the plus side, and the only reason they get three stars - good variety of topping and base options - so if all you really want is a salad or rice bowl with toppings, you’ll like this place. I’ll try a different poke shop next time.

By far the BEST Poke around! I have tried several different ones and Sweet Tuna beats them all! Flavorful, great fresh selection and I have never been disappointed. Wish they were open on Sunday’s but other than that, love Sweet Tuna!!!

Want to feel better? We are what we eat. Just like saying things not so nice, because we dont feel so nice. Let's try putting good stuff, healthy stuff inside. I love sweet tuna. I was very reserved at first, because it was new to me. My wife brought some home. Now I'm hooked. In photo brown rice base, salmon croquettes with red onion corn and spicy crunch. Very friendly staff, love Gina.

Customer service was amazing! Was slow when I got there so I was able to quickly get my order. I just think the portion size is unfair some. A lot of rice but not a whole lot to add on extra. My meal was still delicious and so was the soda drinks they had! Different but gooood.
