Valenza

Sitting at a table at the rear of the restaurant, I wish that I could give a rating of more than three stars.

The place is quaint, dimly lit, and is inviting.
The food was good but just shy of great. Scallops were quite sandy, but I would definitely order from here again. We took desert to go, I don't expect it to be earth shattering but should be good.
The service started out fantastic, our waiter was very helpful and friendly, knew his stuff and had good recommendations, but we were left waiting longer and longer as our meal progressed. Not a big deal, in some cases this is even preferred.
None of those were a major issue and the restaurant would have gotten five stars if it wasn't for one major issue - the noise level.
It was so unbearably loud that my wife and I couldn't converse for the majority of our meal. It was downright oppressive and made us want to hurry up and leave. Unfortunate, as I like Valenza but will now have second thoughts about it when picking a dinner location.

When my daughter's boyfriend said that Valenza had the best Italian food in the city, I was skeptical; I have had some really great food in the city of Atlanta, but every place claims to be the best. I am happy to say I was wrong to be skeptical! Valenza was fantastic - the food was superb, the service was outstanding, and the environment cozy and comfortable. We shared great laughs over good wine and amazing food. Our glasses were never empty, and our server, Daniel, was a delight. I would (and will!) dine here again, in a heartbeat!

If perfection is even possible, it’s this place! Valenza is by far one of my new favorite places! Elegant atmosphere, great prices, friendly staff, delicious food that is perfectly portioned and not too overwhelming. My boyfriend and I will definitely be back to sit on the beautiful outdoor patio and enjoy before summer is over. Highly recommend!!!

Great indoor and outdoor area with fresh meats and authentic Italian style pizzas. It was delicious and service was fast and courteous. Another great place in the Atlanta dining out passport. I recommend getting a combination of white and red based pizzas and splitting. The other non-pizza options looked good as well!

This was our first time dining here. It was wonderful. The taste of the food was superb. The waitress was attentive. We weren't rushed at all. We both enjoyed our time there and would definitely return.
