$30 per person- all you can eat Kbbq.
This is a solid place to go too, but not my top 5 for Kbbq. If you are new to the Kbbq scene, great place to start! The food itself was good, the service was great and ambiance was very K-pop. The selection of protein was solid. The ribeye was actually very tasty. Gal bi was average and for me that why we are not in the top 5. Side dishes were also good, but not great in selection.
All in all - solid choice, you won’t walk away hungry and it’s pretty good value!

Dethrone K-Factory? YES. All the meats are well marinated to where you won’t need sauce and all the sides are delicious! $30 pp ayce for dinner and you seriously can’t beat the variety, flavors, and service. They literally have unlimited appetizers in the size of side dishes which is perfect for no food waste and shareables. Also, they have GALBI. On top of the basic kbbq meats, they have galbi, calamari, Cajun shrimp and SO MUCH MORE. Highly recommend! I’ll be telling everyone about it

As a person who eats korean bbq frequently, I am going to start with a general review then a comparison.

Venue is very modern. TVs displaying korean pop music and artwork throughout. They sit you down after they prepare the table with the plates and utensils.

I ate during the lunch time, so $18 ayce and the popular Galbi items are only allowed during dinner ayce which is an option.

Water is served with large cups which taste like tap water. There are only 3 dipping sauces-- sesame oil, samjang, and yummy yummy sauce. The side dishes, most are similar to other kbbq places except the sweet fried tofu, pasta salad, and a fried rice cake (fried tteokbokki?). Most of thr side dishes tasted on the sweet side.

The meat ordered was beed brisket, smoked pork belly, cajin pork belly, and the gabli patty. Portion wise, it was great if.you want to try a little bit of everything. They dont just dump a large portion just to get you full. However, everything but the brisket tasted sweet. Almost too sweet. And the gabli meat was on the small side. But the sweetness was too much for us to.l continue eating.

The ramen was nice touch. It wasn't too salty, but it was a little generic.

Overall first time experience if I was experiencing kbbq for the first time I rate it a 4.

But compared to other locations, I feel it caters more to people not used to korean bbq. They don't have doenjang-jjigae or cold noodle. I don't believe they have korean fried rice either. The meat options seem to differ mostly by different marinades than meat quality.

So would I come back? Not likely, due to preference. But it is a nice atmosphere and the best american-friendly korean bbq I'd recommend to those who like going to Iron Age.

Short Review: Delicious food in a fun and modern atmosphere.

Can I go into more detail? I can and I will! This AYCE BBQ restaurant just opened but it is sure to be my new go-to spot for filling, affordable, and mouthwatering meals.

The servers wore masks and were extremely polite and attentive. My server, Vo, did an excellent job keeping the grill clean, keeping an eye on the cooking meat, making conversation, and keeping me informed of the best options. His teammates also stopped by to help check on things. I felt like I was among friends (who happened to be skilled cooks).

The decoration was classy and fun. The booths have outlets on the sides so that you can charge your phone. The background music was the perfect volume, not so loud that you couldn't hear your conversation.

Now! On to the individual dishes. I sampled the:

Signature Ribeye: By far the best option. Perfectly tender, buttery texture and taste. This is the only dish I got two rounds of.

Hawaiian Pork Belly: Sweet and Tender.

KPOP Steak: Deliciously tender (I promise I'm not over-using this word. everything melted in my mouth), even the charred parts were full of flavor.

Lemon Pepper Chicken: Sharp lemon flavor that isn't overpowering.

Marinated Galbi (bone-in): Good flavor. I bit into a wayward sliver of bone so just be wary of that.

Appetizers: The rice cakes were the perfect combination of crispy and chewy. They weren't very spicy which was perfect for me. The Korean fried chicken was more like popcorn chicken which was the only disappointment but it was still very good.

Sorry I don't have pictures of the meat. I ate it too quickly!

In conclusion, KPOP BBQ and Bar is a welcome addition to the Doraville food scene and I hope they are around for many years to come.

KPOP was a great experience! The food was awesome, and the service from Sujit and other servers was top notch. The explanations and guidance was totally clear and they kept an eye on us, and made sure our food was cooked appropriately. They never let us run out of the sides, the sauces, or the different meats that we tried. This is a great place to eat, especially if you're hungry enough to appreciate the all you can eat $30 menu. Wouldn’t be surprised when this restaurant gets packed in the next few months so definitely take advantage of trying this place out before there’s a long wait!
