La Casona Colombian Restaurant

I would’ve liked for the server to treat my black friend the same way she treated me. She wasn’t racist but she was not as accommodating. The server didn’t speak English and that’s not a problem, but she also didn’t put any effort into trying to understand or even look at what my friend was pointing at on the menu. It was quite embarrassing for me, I was trying to share my culture and background with my friend and the service at this restaurant did the opposite of what I was trying to achieve

Delicious authentic Colombian food with welcoming staff. Empanadas were perfectly cooked. Only complaint was the aji wasn't what I expected. My family recipe has more cilantro. Also they only have Sancocho on certain days.

Met a friend there who wanted to try something different. Was introduced to the fine cuisine of Colombia. Service and food were great and the location ideal as it's located near my place. Love having options.

Good flavor, great size in their portions, the service is very nice and a fair price, the only “but” is that they offer natural juices for drink but they denied to do it sugar free. And the only “sugar free” option are HOT TEAS, when you go during the summer the least that you expect is that.

4 stars because it doesn't have enough parking. But it does have amazing food. Amazing drinks. Best Columbian Restaurant.
