This place is awesome. We had the kimchi beef noodle soup and it was delicious. The staff was courteous and patient with our questions about the menu. We had enough left over broth that we got another serving of noodles to go for free and had it for dinner!
Good noodle soup. Right when we walked in I could smell the tomato and it smelled good. The soup does not disappoint either. All the ingredients come out, and then the super hot bowl of soup, which all of the ingredients are then put into and stirred to become super hot.
I've been there twice with my wife. The trips were on a weekday around noon.
I like it. She's okay with it. If you're not into spicy it may be a little bland for you. For instance the Chicken Rice Noodle bowl is mainly chicken broth and a chicken leg with a cup of noodles. That'll probably be compared unfavorably to chicken noodle soup.
I got the Lamb and Rice Noodle and liked it. I got it in pickled pepper broth with some added chili oil. They have a little self-serve counter with chili oil, soy sauce, green onion and cilantro. I also got a cucumber salad with chili appetizer. That paired well with the noodles.
If you find a broth you like then it'll probably be a good experience. The service was fast and it's around $30 for two if you get a drink other than water. It is a noodle joint though so that's all you'll find. Don't go wanting something like fried rice or dim sum.
I tried this place with 2 other friends. Everything was just average - taste, price, service, atmosphere, etc. The appetizer/small dish section was a bit small but their menu was small to begin with. I would prefer some more appetizer choices. Price was decent at around $13ish per hot pot. After 7/7:30 the place started to fill up. I would eat here again, but it wouldn’t be one of my go-to places in the area.
This is a unique place to have authentic Chinese street food. The service is nice and fast, however, this place gets busy during the weekend so try this out during weekday will be a better option for the first. They have many soup base options range from original to mild to spicy. The appetizer, drink, and dessert can be additional adds-on that other places do not typically have.
