McDonald's

I was asked to pick up my granddaughter whilst her mum took my grandson for a checkup. This McDonald's was across the street although about five miles from my house. I placed an order for five through the mobile app, something I've done many times. Unlike the McDonald's near my house, this one had only one spot for pickup of mobile orders, and someone had parked there. I went through the drive-through with no problem. When I got home, the orders were correct except for mine. I ordered a Big Mac meal with large fries and drink. I got the drink and the fries. I called and spoke with the manager who was very apologetic. I didn't have an hour to use wading through traffic and back and was hoping for a credit to my card, but I was told I could have a free Big Mac meal next time I come there. I could only say thank-you, hang up, and vow to check before I left the vicinity. This was about the third time in ten years I went to this McDonald's because it is normally too far out of my way. Mistakes happen.
