Best Jerk on Redan Rd. Price is affordable and there is an open eating area with plenty of room to dine in.

I have traveled all over Georgia, and I have tried several Jamaican Restaurants and my opinion remains the same as it was over 10 years ago, when I first tried Spice Island. There is not one restaurant that serves Caribbean food that can compete when it comes to authenticity and flavor. I am constantly disappointed, having had Jamaican food most of my life, with the lack of personality or warmth, the blatant lack of Customer appreciation and the lack of taste at every Jamaican place I have tried so far, with the exception of Spice Island. I did enjoy the food and the staff at Natty's in Marietta, if i could just get more potatoes in the curry chicken... that is disappointing every time. However they are still my second choice. I wish I still lived in Stone Mountain.

The food is good, but the lady who works there can be a rude liar sometimes. She will try to over charge you if you don’t pay attention, and she changes the prices whenever she feels like it. They only cook beef patties once a day. If they run out early in the day, they won’t cook anymore. There’s always a long wait, even if you are the only person there. But like I said, the food is good and they’re kinda close, so I still go.
