Great service. Food was delicious. Nice small dine in area. Outside seating also available.
We stumbled upon the Sweet Potato Cafe when traveling to Stone Mountain Park and we are delighted we did! The food was absolutely incredible. Everything was so fresh and full of flavor! The entire staff was friendly and personable- we felt like family. The meatloaf was out of this world and the creamy collards hit the spot!
Friday night my husband and I had an absolutely lovely dinner at this cute little restaurant right in downtown Stone Mountain. His pork chop was cooked to perfection and my salmon was so flavorful. Added to those entrees we enjoyed several delicious sides (garlic mashed potatoes, broccoli, sweet potato souffle and sauteed cabbage) and a corn nugget appetizer that primed our tastebuds for our entrees. And the server is so delightful -- checking on us just the right amount of times and having the water pitcher at the ready. Makes us definitely want to come back and enjoy another delightful dinner in the future.
The fried tomatoes are amazing. Some of the best I've had. They are sweet and the beans served on it are delicious.
Didnt love the apple fruit salad, but I blame that on too much kale, not enough spinach. Thought I'd give kale another chance but no. Kale is terrible.
Mushroom burger was great. Hard to mess up and it was juicy.
The environment was pleasant. The art decor lining the walls was a tribute to African American history in the United states with pictures of Dr. King to Muhammad Ali and pictures of life on the plantation.
