Uncle Willie's Soul Food & Cakes

The food is set up buffet style where uncle Willie serves you himself. I had the turkey wings, delicious and tender. The meat is literally falling off the bone. 😋 I had mixed veggies they were extremely salty but, everyone can overdo it when it comes to seasoning sometimes. 🥴 Hopefully he'll be more mindful when preparing the food the next time. Some people have a low salt diet. I would have gone back to the restaurant to let him know but it was late in the evening and they were closing.

I would say give uncle Willie's a try. BTW, The Mac and cheese was pretty good. Welcome him to the neighborhood. I'll definitely go back again. Oh, I almost forgot to mention, he bakes his own cakes! 😳 They look rich and moist, I'll have to try one the next time. 😋

I recommend the earlier in the day, i.e. (lunch) the better your choices and selections are. Happy eating🙏😋

Great place to get soul food. The food is excellent, taste great and priced right. The Owner and staff are friendly and welcoming . The key-lime cake and chocolate pound cakes are delicious. Each visit has been a great experience.

The mere fact that a man of color is brazen and courageous enough to get out into the business ozone and create then own a reputable business gets 5 stars to begin with.
