    We hit the BBQ jackpot with this stop! They're only open on Thursdays and Fridays (and close early) so we felt blessed to be traveling on the right day ? They are primarily a "to-go" business as the name indicates but they do have a few tables outside in the shade. We sat there with a good breeze to get a break from the car.
    We were sweetly greeted by the ladies who explained their menu and specialties. Lady told us a bit about the background and we met the national winning BBQ pitmaster who made the sauce (that can also be ordered).
    On to the food...
    The BBQ is ham (not Boston butt) and clean, clean, clean! Not a bit of fat to be seen. We loved the sauce. We had an order of the fried shrimp. Since we were on our way home from a week of eating shrimp in all forms in FL we thought we needed to compare. These shrimp were likely the best we had all week. They are butterflied and lightly breaded.
    The sides we ordered; baked beans, coleslaw, fries, Brunswick stew and the shrimp came with hushpuppies. It was ALL so very good!!!
    This is locally owned and run. It's not a fancy chain but you will get sweet service and absolutely some of the best food. Their community is blessed to have them for the past 12 years.
