Very good food! Authentic.
Had tacos de lengua; could have been cooked a little crispier. They were plain. Needed lettuce, cheese, etc. on the side. I just didn't think to ask. The server however was lovely. Horchata needs some work. Just tastes like powdered sugar water. Horchata is a cinnamon rice milk. It's meant to be smooth and very palatable. Most places these days do just order powder mix and it just isn't at all like the real thing. Finding authenticity is rare. They have it going. They just need to up their game. The place is small and quaint. I would like to see it looking like a backyard party! Mariachi decor, bandas, colors, flavors.... Truly enjoyable culture because that's what they represent. I believe it should be flaunted. I look forward to going again.
I heard from a friend that it just reopened under new ownershipand figured I would try something I haven't before. (I ordered to go) The Enchilada Ariana was pleaseant, the three different sauces we're flavorful each mild and slightly sweet. I liked it. My friend ordered taco del pastor and he said they were pretty good. I'll have to come again and try everything else out.
