Mercier Orchards

This place was crazy busy when we went, but still amazing. They have an option to pick your own apples right off the tree. I believe they said they have 300 acres with 200 to 300 dwarf apple trees (easier to pick from) per acre and 52 varieties of apples. It was very neat, but then again I enjoy that sort of thing. Also, inside you can sample all the varieties of apples and purchase without having to pick em yourself. Oh yeah, their unpasteurized apple cider was delicious!

Mercier Orchards had the best tasting apples. The you pick experience was just awesome! Field guides were extra friendly. They were also very informative and helpful. Fun for the entire family. Made a super delicious apple pie with their McIntosh apples!

We stop here every time we are in the area. They grow strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, peaches, plums, nectarines, and apples. We bought lots of Gala apples this time around. They have a good variety of apples. They ask what kind you like: sweet? Tart? Crisp? For baking? For eating? Etc. Then they give you slices to try, based on your answers. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff. We also love the pies, fritters, fudge, and gelato they make. They also make preserves, donuts, and other delicious things. And as you might expect, they have a gift shop too. Definitely worth a visit!

We absolutely LOVED IT! Whether you are with your kids on a family outing or ready to taste the best hard cider in Georgia, Mercier Orchards is the place to go. The facility is huge! They have thousands of delicious and beautiful things to taste and buy. There is a wonderful outdoor seating area where you can drink cider flights and wine that's covered. They even had live music on Saturday when we were there! We will definitely be back. I highly recommend Mercier Orchards ????

I love Merciers, they have anything you want and more. It is very interesting to see everything, you really don't know what to look at next. You will leave with something I promise. An unusual place, but great. If you haven't been there before, it would be where you can take your whole family and find lots to do. Love it
