Mexican Restaurant El Manzanillo

I love it and they have the best food and buffet and very friendly people. Highly recommended.

I ordered the fajitas and received two tortillas. The steak portion was good but the sides could have been a little better. It seemed like everything was right out of a can or bag. I hope this was just me because the last time I ate here it was delicious! It was just average this time. Like I said seemed like it was out of a can, box or bag this time. I will give them another try.

Went on a Sunday at 4 and it was not crowded. We were able to be seated immediately. The hostess was very nice and the server came to the table right away and took our drink order. We ordered and the food came back quickly and hot. My husband ordered chicken and steak fajitas and I ordered 2 fried burritos with shredded chicken. Salsa was good but lacked spiciness; it tasted more like cilantro. The rice had butter beans, corn, and peas in it and was very good. Fajitas had a bunch of bell pepper and onion in it; I felt the peppers were cooked way too long, they were slimy not slightly crunchy. Lettuce and tomato were fresh not millie or brown.The fried burritos were thick with meat but if you want them crunchy put the sauce and cheese on the side; they were great!

It is a very good place to enjoy a Mexican meal. The food is good, with large servings. The service was also good. Prices are reasonable. You will not be disappointed. I didn't give it 5 stars because I save that for exceptional restaurants. I recommend you give it a try. And don't forget to try the margarita.
