ROE. Raw Oyster Bar & Steak

I'm biased by my affinity for some of the staff members but ROE stands out in the newly vibrant Blue Ridge dining scene. Don't let the parking challenge keep you from soaking up the top notch atmosphere in this awesome raw bar concept birthed by the former GM of townie favorite The Black Sheep. Great cocktails, tasty oysters and a menu with fish, meats, creative side dishes and lots of familiar faces make this a must for any local or visitor's downtown rotation.

Food was amazing. Best pork chop and apple chutney I’ve ever had. My wife loved the salmon and the kids could not be more happy with their fish sticks. Kerri our waitress was fabulous. If I could’ve rated this restaurant more than five stars I would have. Delicious

If you haven't tried ROE yet what are you doing?!

This was a dining experience I will never forget. That's saying something considering we were visiting from Louisiana. I used to hate oysters and you would never catch me eating them before visiting this restaurant. Everything was fresh, delicious and well prepared. The atmosphere was beautiful and the owners made it a point to make sure each customer was comfortable. You can tell that the staff here truly cares and that's hard to find these days. I had a lot of wonderful conversations and delicious bites.

I recommend ordering the lobster, swordfish and chargrilled oysters.

My best girls and I were on our friend reunion Trip in Blue ridge Georgia. We went out for dinner and stumbled upon a beautiful restaurant called Roe. This was one of the best experiences of our lives. Being able to bond over such exceptional food and drinks is a memory I’ll never forget. Jameson, our host was phenomenal. Funny, attentive, and polite. We adore him! The food was on another level, we all got a different entrees and sides and shared everything. Everything had its own simple but uniquely bold flavors. My girls and I were in heaven! We had the pleasure to meet the owners, Patrick and Cassandra and they are such wonderful and kind people. This will be an experience I’ll never forget. I highly recommend this beautiful restaurant and definitely rate it a 5 star experience! Thank you to everyone at Roe!

An Experience!
My girlfriends and I found this gem while searching for open restaurants in the area, and this by far was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. The food was superior, along with the service. I ordered the filet with truffle butter, asparagus with cream sauce and the roasted potatoes. Every bite was better than the first. Our server Jameson was very attentive and made our experience so much fun. The owner and his wife greeted us and talked with us about their story about opening their restaurant, turns out they had been only open for 7 days! Everyone was so inviting and wonderful! Highly recommend
