Georgia Shrimp Company

Our party was 8 couples, and we we're served by one waiter. Aaron was great, but we knew the service would be slow, so I ordered the Starter Combo Platter. The fried and grilled shrimp were delicious, and the fried oysters and fried calamari were average. My wife then changed her entree order from fried oysters to the lobster thermador, which was AMAZING! I ordered the Peri Peri Prawn skillet which was disappointing - the prawns were over cooked and thus hard to get out of their shells. Another couple ordered the shrimp and grits, but we're disappointed with the unusual creamed spinach topping. The person sitting next to me ordered the 2 fish skillet with salmon and grilled shrimp and he loved it. Wish I had ordered that too.

Overall great food with the exceptions I mentioned above.

This is my first time visiting the restaurant and I had a great time. The service was good and my wife had a great time. I had fish & chips that was very good and my wife had a pasta dish that was very good.

Went for Saturday Lunch. We're seated right away. Very cozy atmosphere Was a little disappointed that my daughter down graded her side to fries and we were charged a dollar when on the menu fries were .50¢ cheaper than the rice.. Also ordered the smoked salmon appetizer and it was not available. But the manager did come out and talk to us himself and apologized. They smoke in house and it was not ready. Overall the food was really good. The staff was warm and friendly. It was our first time. I think this is a returnable place.

Disappointing. Quality of mussels was much less than wnen we were there a month ago.
Thanks for the response Dee. The mussels tasted old or maybe just frozen. The sauce was overly sweet. We love the atmosphere and the out side seating and the watering dish for our dog. Waitress was charming. We will be back!
