Mimi's Good Food

Met a friend for lunch. It was a packed house. First indication that this was going to be good. Customer waiting for his party, said we could take the next table. Good sign number two. We sat down and our server came right over and got our drink order. This was our first time here, and our server was ready with recommendations. Good sign number 3. Food came out quick and it was good. We had the double cheeseburger and patty melt plate. Don't judge us! Amazed that I have worked within a mile of Mimi's and never been. Trying to find time to try the breakfast menu.

Delicious food! Great service! This was our first time. Found it by accident looking for a Waffle House. So glad we did! We're definitely doing our weekly breakfast here from now on! AAAA+

Friendly wait staff,we love Katrina, and Mimi is right there keeping it running smoothly. Coffee cups are kept topped up. The pecan waffles are divine. Kids get theirs with a cloud of whipped cream.

Mimi's is a great place to go eat with friends and family. It's not formal. It is a very relaxed environment. The staff is super friendly and always ready to help.

The menu is breakfast and lunch. I don't think you could go in and not find something good to eat. While I have not asked... I was told that if you prefer to have something in a wrap or different type of bread offered on the menu/need the food to have certain ingredients the staff do try to accommodate.

I wish I worked closer, so I could go more often. Can't wait to go back!

While staying in Peachtree City, I decided that I didn’t want to eat breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Checking on-line, I found that Mimi’s Good Food was just a short drive away, so I decided to give it a try. I wasn’t disappointed.

Mimi’s Good Food is a store front in a business park near Falcon Field. It’s small and simple; there aren’t fancy decorations. Though crowded on a Saturday morning, I was seated immediately at the counter by the owner, Mimi. The menu isn’t extensive or fancy; I ordered a couple of eggs over-easy, hash browns and wheat toast. Because the counter is next to and directly faces the kitchen, Mimi, also a cook, asked if I wanted my eggs over easy to ensure that the whites of the eggs were cooked (as opposed to wanting hardened yolks); that was exactly what I wanted and I was impressed that she took the time to understand how I wanted my meal prepared during a very busy time.

I enjoyed my simple breakfast at Mimi’s Good Food so much, that I returned on Monday morning with my wife as we were heading out of town. The restaurant was a lot less crowed early that morning. This time I had the Southwest omelet; it included roasted red peppers, ham, Havarti cheese and topped with fried onions. It was also very good and a choice I’d recommend.

The waitstaff was friendly and helpful and the prices were reasonable. If you’re Peachtree City and looking for breakfast or lunch, give Mimi’s Good Food a try. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
