Alessio's Restaurant & Pizzeria

Right across the street from our house and good food. It’s convenient and pretty good pizza for our area. Worth stopping in.

Came for the pizza, stayed for the magic. I believe either the manager or the owner's son works at this location and showed me 3-card monte and inexplicably fused two cards (chosen at random by me and my mom) into one, back to back. I'm completely baffled. It's a nice souvenir to remember a nice experience. The pizza was good too. We got margarita pizza with a balsamic glaze.

Every time I watch the Ninja Turtles I want the giant stringy, cheesy, NY style pizza that they're eating, and Alessio's definitely fulfills that desire. Their pizza has a great mouth-feel! The sauce however, is more of the lighter-reddish shade than the deep red color of marinara sauce, I don't know how else to describe it but to me it seems like a lower quality sauce. Also, the crust is good, but also kind of par. The service was great, but the prices were very hit-or-miss. Example: $27 for pizza is reasonable, $8 for small handful of fries with truffle sauce is Ludicrous!

That being said, it was very delicious and they have nice indoor and outdoor seating, and a decent overall atmosphere. You won't be disappointed with the experience, but I also wouldn't say it's anywhere near the best in the area. Maybe top ten in Forsyth county. Maybe. If I could, I'd give it 3.7 stars, but apparently you can't divide stars by ten.

The pizza is awesome! Usually I get lunch here and it is a perfect mid day break, but its also a great place to take the family in the evening for a beer and delicious food!

Slow service to start but they picked up the pace. Good food. Good atmosphere.
