Jersey Mike's Subs

Edit: added a star because they're getting better at getting sandwiches ready on time.

I really like the subs, but staffing is a problem recently. I find myself frequently waiting 15+ mins after the estimated time on the app. In fact, it's 10 mins after the time the app said and I'm watching my sandwiches sit on the counter, half made, while the ONE PERSON working is waiting on the people who just walked in the door. Losing my patience with this shop.

The franchise owner was very professional in his/her response regarding the quality issue. Offered a complimentary meal and they did make up for the initial issue. It’s now my new favorite sub. Portabella mushroom sandwich is delicious!

Ordered portabella mushroom and cheese sandwich. There were no more than 3 measly pieces of mushroom. See photos. Really jersey Mike’s? You can’t use more mushrooms when literally only that and green peppers come with the sandwich (I requested jalapeños). What is the reason for it? You’re still charging the same amount for no meat and 2 veggies with cheese. lol

Had an order pickup today, my first time at this store. I’m a sub snob and am brand loyal to Lenny’s, but it was raining and cold and thought I’d try out Jersey Mikes because it was close.

The store was clean. The 2 people working were efficient and friendly. A worker asked a customer standing there if he was waiting on an online order (nice and proactive!). My sub was ready on time, my order was accurate and very good. I would’ve preferred a bit more meat for such an expensive sandwich (Lenny’s meat:bread ratio is perfect). But overall it was a good experience, especially from a customer service perspective.

Our sandwiches were excellent and I would come back. However, I got tea with my order and there was dark brown tea sludge at the bottom of my cup which seriously grossed me out. Ruined my entire meal. If you get tea, you should pour a good amount into a cup first and see what surprises come out before committing to drinking it.
