Great location- it gets busy around lunch time- chicken tenders were absolutely delicious!! Good service. Decent prices.

Mimosa Day, to fresh squeeze Juice, Bbq, Steak, Burgers, Onion rings, Sweet Okra, Snickers cheesecake the drinks are well made to order they don't skimp on
the alcohol and flavor.
The menu is full of all, favorites and more. Yes, one orders the meal at the cashier's then one picks up the coffee, the utensils, napkins and so on, they do provide a buzzer so the staff can bring your order to your table the server asks if you need anything else and they will get it for you the staff is friendly and very helpful to your needs, the food and desserts, are fresh and delicious!
The Cafe is very clean they provide many specials every day, they provide high chairs and children's menu it is an upbeat fun reasonably priced Cafe.
Do not believe any negative reviews on the Black Walnut Cafe,

Attention to detail is why I gave a 5 star review. It was our first time ever eating at black walnut cafe. The staff showed that asking that question was not just lip service. They took CARE of us. We are not in the area very often. But if circumstances put us there we will be back. Oh yeah and the food was good too.

Nice laid back atmosphere. Order first at the counter and it is delivered to your table. Bar has craft beers on draft and others are bottled. Patio has a cover and large heaters where needed. The french toast smells and tastes delicious. Get it. American burger is a good size with thick bun and pretty good. Just the right amount of greasy.

The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Make sure to try the gelato before you leave.
