Every dish is better than the last. Service can be fantastic or so-so depending on which server you get. But still the go-to place for this Cajun girl!

This place was having a celebration of the life of a chef who has passed. They had tons of free swag, free shots, cheap specials, and an amazing atmosphere! The bartender Vladimir is one of the coolest people I've met in Georgia! Thanks for an awesome night Flatlands!

Everything our party of 4 had was incredible. Seems like a family owned spot, as the chef (and I assume the owner) was out mingling with the customers. Bartender was really nice, made really good drinks.

Flatlands was definitely a culinary experience. The food choices were authentic to the NOLA vibe. The atmosphere was good and service was friendly and fairly fast.

I ordered the Shrimp Andouille, my wife the Shrimp Grits. Both of us were satisfied with the food (though it was a bit spicy for the wife)

The thing holding it back from five stars for me is hard to define. Everything was good - but nothing was particularly spectacular. We enjoyed our visit but don't think we'll go back again. And that makes it 4 stars for us.

First time here. We sat outside and it was terrific. While wrapped with parking the restaurant was set back from the street. With the tree shade, the seclusion and their landscaping it felt very cozy and comfortable. The food was tasty, nicely spiced; some heat but not overpowering. Service was a bit slow but they were crushed and the entire team was working to makes us comfortable.

This was a great find, I highly recommend it.
