The OG Ponko is delicious and I've been to every location across GA, but I will always return to this location. The owners are the nicest, most accommodating, most helpful people and they hire employees that personify that attitude. Good food is fine, but it's really the extraordinary customer service that will make me go out to eat instead of cooking at home. I love to support hardworking people!
So to preface this review, I am allergic to onions and have found it near impossible to find chicken restaurants where I can eat the food. They have limited items on the menu that have onion products so I had a lot of options to choose from! I got the ponko plate with rice and pickles and it was PHENOMENAL.
The chicken was seasoned well, the texture was unbelievable and the rice was a perfect compliment. The portion size was also a perfect amount! Outside of the food, the staff were all so nice and they went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable eating there. I will be recommending this to friends and family - we are looking forward to coming back soon!
Best chicken ever! Love the bar at this location too. They have a great patio as well which will be awesome this spring!
Great location with outside seating. Staff is very friendly and take to time to answer any questions you might have about the menu. Very tasty food and a lot for what you pay for.
This new Ponko Chicken location is great. The staff is really nice and they are constantly making sure you're fine with your order. The amount of food you get for your money is HUGE.
I'd recommend the original sauce cause it's just the right amount of sweet. Just enough for me to decide not to use ranch sauce. And that's should tell you something about. Totally recommended. Beers and chicken, what else do you want?
