Go early, this place is busy Mon to Fri. Nice menu choices. I had the veggie panini and samples of crab cake, pimento cheese app and shrimp. All delicious. I recommend white balsamic dressing for salad. Service was good and server knowledgeable. Enjoy!!

I've enjoyed every item I've tried: short ribs, shrimp appetizer, scallops, and fried chicken. However, I'm wondering if they've changed the chicken. It didn't have the same juicy taste as usual. The last time I got it, the chicken had the appearance of a patty. It was flat and lacked flavor.

Very good to excellent food. First visit here during their 4 - 6:30 Happy Hour. Welcoming staff, rustic atmosphere and great bartender. Had the Bang-Bang Shrimp and Fried Green Tomatoes for apps and both were very good although the jam is the star of the FGTs. We split the fried chicken dinner w/bacon jalapeno gravy which was EXCELLENT - juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The portion is HUGE so it is perfect for 2 or if you are starving. Chef Brody came out to the bar several times to chat and check on the food which was a nice surprise. We'll be back and may upgrade the rating after sampling more food.

We went today for a group lunch. We all were pleased with the food and service. I personally had the fried chicken sandwich with havarti cheese and slaw. It was very tasty. I chose the side salad and it also was very tasty. I will definitely go back again!

Had early dinner with a colleague here. Due to its popularity, we decided to dine at the bar. I had one signature cocktail (can't recall exactly which one) and their fried chicken specialty. Absolutely delicious for both.
Wait staff was attentive, the restaurant was clean and bustling, and our experience was very positive.
