After reading multiple reviews stating the food was disappointing, I can now say that I disagree. From the Wild Mushroom Soup to the Crab Dip to the Peri-Peri Prawns Tacos, the food was all delicious. I also enjoyed 2 Holiday Cocktails: Clausmopolitan and Jack Frosted Eggnog. Our server was James, and he’s excellent. I can not wait to visit again.
Their Pink Holiday vibe is not to be missed! So cute! We enjoyed the crab dip, along with the peri peri prawns tacos and shrimp tempura sushi. We really like this place, but wish the menu was more extensive. The holiday drinks, however, were great. The Jack Frosted Eggnog was frozen and yummy, so much so that my husband made it his second drink.
Great night out at The Cape Restaurant & Beach Bar. We could see a few South African influences and tried a few of them on the menu. Can definitely recommend the Bobotie Crepes, which pairs well with a Windhoek Lager. We also tried the Peri Peri Shrimp and Curry Salmon. During the festive season we would highly recommend the holiday cocktails. 😀 Service was super attentive as well.
Micheal A was amazing, his smile and hospitality made my entire day. His service was spectacular and he made my experience worth while. The general manager Karina was very friendly as well. Her recommendations and knowledge of menu was super impressive. Karina also made my experience enjoyable, if I could give more than 5 stars I could. I had the crab dip and espresso martini which was great! I’m so glad I stopped by, and I’ll definitely be back more often.
