It has been open for many years and stays busy. BBQ is very good but they serve many other meat, vegetable, dessert, etc choices. A good Southern restaurant. I wished it sparkled more.

Been coming here off and on since my days of working for Eastern airlines. The food has stayed constantly "southern comfort " food and staff are as good and helpful as ever. My favorite is breakfast but the barbecue is hard to beat.

We stayed in the hotel next door and walked over to the restaurant. Nice old school atmosphere. Ribs fell off the bone. Our waitress Terry was awesome. Will definitely come back when in town again.

First let me wipe my mouth!!!! I'm Visiting Atlanta for the first time for my birthday. Once my sister and I arrived we were looking for food... So we road down Virginia avenue. As soon as I saw the sign and it said "Salmon Patties and family owned" I knew this was the place. Terry was our server. She was Awesome!!!! The food is Amazing!!! I'm Pescatarian so I had the catfish. It was fried to perfection!!! My sister had the fried chicken. She was licking her fingers. We will definitely come back before we leave.

Yall the fried chicken was off the chain today. I'm still thinking about it. I swear it had to be fried in Crisco which is fine with me. The cornbread is good and the butters are left on the table so they are already room temp. The mac and cheese was good but a bit on the cold side. The collards were hot but salty. Typically they are not. I pray we as a society we will someday get away from it. That's what salt shakers are for. Had the peach cobbler which was good but you know them canned peaches are sweet as hell. Crust was good too. Service was prompt and friendly. Parking lot can be tight but extra is available...watch for the signs.
