We've been anxiously awaiting the opening of Buena Vida for the last year. We live in the neighborhood and finally got around to trying it last weekend. we sat at the bar and thoroughly enjoyed our time chatting with the managers and bartenders. Everyone was polite and pleasant, the drinks were solid and the food was amazing! (Get the shrimp pancakes and the fried cauliflower!). Only slight critique was that the music was a little too loud. Not sure if that was the actual sound system or just the acoustics of the place. Happy to see it busy and looking forward to it becoming a local spot!

Had dinner here last night before new year's eve shenanigans. Every tapas came out quickly, hot, and was delicious. Drinks were very strong. Service was attentive and quick. Shout out to Lorenzo, he was an awesome server.

Great experience tonight. Tried 5 different tapas and all were very good and authentic. Really nice options for vegetarians/vegans as well. Both co-owners came up to ask about our meal and chatted for a bit. Servers were attentive and had good suggestions. We will be back to try new dishes again!

I visited during the soft opening weekend and was very satisfied with the restaurant! They have secured an incredible location right on the belt line so I’m looking forward to many trips when the weather warms up. I am not very familiar with traditional Spanish cuisine but my server and the owner of the restaurant were very knowledgeable and spot on with their suggestions and pairings!

My only gripe with this place was the noise level ( I give some grace being the opening weekend and they place was totally full) I was sat in the mezzanine where the noise from below combined with the 8-10 tables upstairs made it difficult to hold a conversation. Perhaps some soft decor on the walls or ceiling treatments to the exposed concrete slab will help soften the noise.

A minor detail that had a HUGE IMPACT on me was the abundance of signage directing you to parking. Often times a new location in a brand new construction building will be hard to find but these guys crushed the way finding signage and made it a breeze

This place is amazing! Right on the beltline. Perfect location for an afternoon cocktail on their outside patio. The food is well seasoned and super fresh! If you don’t order the spicy chicken or the burger sliders you’re missing out on a mouth watering experience. Go check them out!
