Fantastic food and drinks! Really great and friendly service. I recommend the whiskey sour. It's the best I've ever had. Will definitely return.
After attending the Bourbon Festival the afternoon before, we went on the prowl looking for breakfast the next morning. We were looking for Joy Café but found out they just bought Joy and turned it into what it is now. Since we had not been to Joy before, we decided to give this a try. Well, I am very glad we did. The pancakes were huge and very delicious but the show stopper was the 12 hour smoked brisket on grits, that was AMAZING! We met Amit, the owner, and he was very cordial and told us all about his plans for the place. We cannot wait to get back in December and have dinner and cocktails! By the way, the little shovel is a coffee stirrer (LOL)!!
Awesome food, spectacular ambiance and amazing staff. I had the venison smash burger and it easily is one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Great flavor and cooked to perfection. Sat at the bar and the banter from Gary and other patrons was A+. Delicious cocktails and great wine selection. The prohibition style ambiance was very memorable. 100% recommend.
This place is very new, only opening 3 weeks ago so the food and drink menu were limited. It is easy to miss because they don't have signage yet but it's right next to The Oceanaire.
Both dishes were very delicious although the salmon was a little undercooked. If you have never had venison before, you should definitely let Cafe 1933 be the first place you try it because WOW. I could've eaten it by itself.
The drink was gin based with blueberry and mint smashed in. It watery at first but got better as I sipped. I think the bartender named it Gin Blueberry Mint Smash .
I excited to see how this place grows .
Our family visited for brunch today and the food exceeded our expectations! We enjoyed the pancakes with scotch infused maple syrup, candied bacon, grits with gouda cheese & onion jam, eggs, latke, fruit parfait which had an amazing presentation, smashburger and mimosas. Service was fast and we all thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Definitely will be going back again and again!!
