Love this place! It's quirky and playful but keeps doing basic good, inexpensive food just as they have for decades. Nothing glitzy or trendy here ... thank goodness. Love the lemon chicken, rice black beans and cornbread (the "special"). Collards are very good too. Oh, and try the brownies if you are still hungry 🙂

A great longtime spot for good, unpretentious food. Free parking, great value and fast, friendly service. Bonus: no TV in the dining area.

Very good place for a meat and three but I think they could knock the veggies down to 2.00 and sell more so we know they are always fresh. Don't be so greedy you'll still survive selling them for 2 00 each. You'll get more customers. Offer a meat and three for 10 bucks and if they drink a soda you'll make a great amount of money still and stay packed

Meatloaf is good, Broccoli Cheese casserole is bomb and Jerk Chicken is super flavorful (I recommend the smaller pieces/darker meat). This place is on the way to GT from Emory, and it’s my go-to when I have to travel between campuses. Service is great! Wish they had bigger cups for the drinks, but other than that, no complaints.

Love this place. Tried and true good American cuisine at good prices. They staff and owner are great and the food quality is and has been extremely consistent in the 10 years I've been going. Definitely recommend!
