Helen's Hot Chicken

Good quality chicken but not saucy the way I prefer. Fries were tasty but v soggy as another reviewer said. The waffle is great tho!

Ordered the mild chicken sandwich with okra & a waffle. Food was delicious. Server/Cashier Halley was Great and patient! Visiting from California Will Come back & highly recommended👍

I was visiting from Dallas texas... First day in town,and we found you all....the food was beautiful. Service was A one..fresh and hot!!! Me and my best friend was amazed by you all!!! Keep up the good work... We will be back again

The staff was very helpful. I am hard of hearing so they were very patient.

It took about 25 mins to get my food, but it is because they make it fresh as you order. I ordered the chicken sandwich (hot) w/ coleslaw and cheese and side of fried okra. The sandwich was delicious but the fried okra had some pieces that were a little salty. I also ordered chicken strips and waffle for my wife. The chicken strips (mild) still had flavor and a little kick and were very good portions. The waffle was a Belgian waffle and was good as well.

It was easy to find parking and the restaurant was very clean inside.

Overall it was a great experience!

I’m from Nashville so I’ve ate at Helen’s there before. I live in Ga so I said I’ll go try it out. The food was cooked fresh but lack flavor big time. I ordered the 3 whole wings combo hot. It wasn’t hot at all. The wings are to big for me I didn’t eat them. I gave that meal to my son. He said the bread was hot but the chicken lack seasoning. The gizzards were cooked hard like I like them. I got mild on them. I tasted a little flavor of mild, the gizzards didn’t taste As if they were seasoned before being battered. The one on Nashville has way more flavor. I don’t mind eating here again I know to ask for extra seasoning on the gizzards and I know to stick to the breast.
