La Grotta Ristorante

If you love real Italian food made with real fresh pasta and real ingredients then this is the place for you. It is a small restaurant with a very intimate setting and the best Italian food you will ever eat in your life. All of the waiters are very attentive to your needs. Dress code is business casual and reservations are a must!

This is my second time here and I’ve loved the service and food both times. Really great wine selection too! If you’re willing to spend a good amount per person, this is a nice place to celebrate a special occasion. I went for a birthday and they even served complementary champagne at the end!

We had the melon and prosciutto for an appetizer (a nice size for two people) and the calamari. For the entree, I had the quail which was really juicy and tender.

This is a hidden gem in Atlanta. Located in the basement of an extremely unassuming condominium tower, La Grotta is a very authentic and tasty Italian restaurant. Everything in the menu seems to be well prepared and extremely tasty and the service is excellent as well. It's a bit on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for every time. I recommend going here for something romantic or just a fancy outing. You will enjoy it and want to come back soon.

Excellent food and service. Reducing 2 stars as they lack space to accommodate the number of guests they cater. There is not enough space for one to move and because everyone is so close it gets loud. Therefore 3 stars for lack of ambience in indoor sitting area. Would definitely recommend for a smaller group as the food and wine are delicious.

Excellent service! Best I’ve ever received. Also, This is the best Italian food I’ve ever tasted. The ambience was romantic in nature, but would be great for any occasion. There was absolutely nothing wrong with this place. It was pricey, but it was worth it based on the quality of the food, service, and atmosphere. Make a reservation it fills up fast!
