Didn't hate it, but didn't love it. Wonton dumplings were great. Lacking of sauce in the main dishes. Pork belly bowl with a whole cup of plain white rice and two measly pieces of pork wasn't exactly something I'd come back for. Maybe I'll try something else next time but I'm not excited to return.
Fusion inspired restaurant. Not the place to go if you want authentic Vietnamese. Our server was nice but we did wait an hour to get food. The food itself was on the bland side. Nice atmosphere and good place for a date but not necessarily the food.
The food here is absolutely incredible, the atmosphere and decor is charming and well suited for a date night. The kale salad is surprisingly one of the most delicious things on the menu. My husband ate the shaking steak and it was so good he didn’t offer me a single bite (rare for him).
I ate the chicken clay pot which was so delicious, though unfortunately it didn’t actually come in a clay pot, I think the dish is so popular they ran out of the pots.
I would give Le Fat 3.5 stars, but the cocktails raise it to 4.
I, personally, think it's more worth your time to go to Buford Highway to get Vietnamese food there over going to Le Fat, but if you want some good cocktails, Le Fat doesn't disappoint.
However, the food is okay. While my pork belly was very tender and tasty, the rest of the dish it came with (rice and some greens) were bland and made the dish feel overpriced. The garlic noodles seemed overcooked and mushy, though the flavor was better.
I liked the atmosphere and drinks, but I don't think I'll return just for the food, sadly.
