Great food, strange, blunt attitudes by staff.

Came here by accident, major brake troubles. Asked the mechanic the closest place i could walk to for breakfast. I WILL be back. Friendly and fast service and delicious food. Great coffee. I just found a new place to eat!

I love the decor! Mashed potatoes r good. The three bean salad is good too. The chicken fried steak is ok...I have had better. All in all good...I will come back and recommend it to others! Great area to walk and shop in because it is very relaxed and very close to the airport!

Had to pick a co-worker up at the Atlanta Airport early last Monday morning. To beat the rush hour traffic, I left early to get close to the airport before I looked for a post office to buy stamps and for a restaurant for a bite to eat. Luckily for me, my google search lead me to the Post Office in Hapeville, which took me right by Maritza & Franks. When I saw the "Good Southern Cooking" sign, I had to stop in. I'd been craving biscuits and gravy and had to get a fix. I ordered biscuits, gravy, scrambled eggs with cheese and sausage patties. They were perfect! The biscuits were the best I've ever had as was the gravey. Perfectly textured, perfectly flavored, and perfectly cooked. The sausage patties were so large that when I first saw them, I thought they were hamburgers. The two sausages were so large that I couldn't eat the 2nd one. I asked for the 2nd one to be put in another biscuit for me to take with me as a sausage biscuit, and offered to pay for the extra biscuit. They put the extra sausage in a biscuit and wrapped it up to go, no charge for the extra biscuit! I think that I will probably make an excuse to drive all the way from Lawrenceville to Hapeville again sometime for breakfast. It was that good.
